Shop For FREE At Walgreens...
Yes, you CAN shop for FREE (or almost FREE) at Walgreens. Some of you savvy, frugal shoppers already know what I'm going to talk about here! Walgreens has a handy little coupon book that they publish monthly called the Easy Saver Catalog. It's full of coupons for extra savings on select products. To be honest, some of the coupons really aren't that remarkable... what IS great are the rebate offers and product offers that are FREE after rebate. Too many times to count, I've bought an item on sale, used a manufacturer's coupon, AND also qualified for a rebate on that product through the Easy Saver Catalog...and the zinger is I've ended up getting the product for FREE and actually making money on the purchase. You can check out all the details of the Easy Saver program at Walgreens' website. Each monthly catalog runs for a specified duration. For instance, this month's catalog began on 12/30 and runs through 1/26.... February's catalog will come out the following day. There is a form in the center of the catalog that you have to complete each month to receive your earned rebates. Walgreens will then send you your rebate via a check or a Walgreens gift card. I always take the gift card option because they will give you a 10% bonus if you select this option. For instance, If you've earned $14 in rebates, they'll tack on an additional $1.40 on your gift card. I use the same gift card each month as you can simply have it re-loaded when they process your rebate. Guess what I do with my gift card each time? I use it for my next monthly round of bargains at Walgreens! I continue to "recycle" my rebate earnings over and over. You can also get great cash register rewards when you shop at Walgreens. There are times when you can purchase certain items and you'll get a coupon on your register receipt for XX amount of dollars off your next shopping trip. If you don't shop at Walgreens regularly, you really should get to know that store on the corner....well, it seems like they're everywhere and usually on a corner! |
